$24.80
A retro inspired dress featuring a ditsy geo print and an open back with a self-tie closure. V-neckline. Short sleeves. Elasticized waistline. Full skirt. Finished hem. Partially lined. Woven. Lightweight.

DETAILS:
- 32" approx. length from high point shoulder to hem, 36" chest, 22" waist, 6" sleeve length from shoulder ridge, 13" shoulder width
- Measured from Small
- Shell and lining: 100% polyester
- Dry clean
- Imported
Product Code : 2000041506

and on a 5'1" 115 pounds girl:

VERDICT: Overall the dress is really nice, my only concern is that I am constantly "pushing" the dress down with my hands that way it looks like the model. If I leave it alone, the dress rises up, creating an airy top. I am wearing a "Small" just like the model, but the dress is looser and more airy on me (I'm 5'1" and 115 pounds). A belt would give you a more polished look.   Also while it looks white on the model, the dress is actually a cream color.

The little circles you see are actually geometric patterns:
me imitating the model, I need modeling lessons, yes yes?

This is what you get when you get a nonprofessional model to model xD

Emmy

Kara got selected by H&M in Episode 9 of Fashion Star with this:

Front & Back:
Wide cut satin racerback top with a printed pattern. Large collar, bow and front draping.

On a super tall super skinny supermodel:

This is how it looks like on a 5'2" average girl. I paired the look with black leggings and black flats for a different look. The dress reached slightly pass my knees:

I saw this at Victoria's Secret for roughly $80.
Website Description:
Tier’s the thing: your quest for the perfect strapless dress stops here. Our lacy little mini is ready for its moment in the sun, with its sexy shoulder-baring silhouette, sweet ruffles and sky-high hem. For day or play, beach or boardwalk, this fun-loving style is an absolute essential.
  • Textured lace is supersoft
  • Ruffle neckline and hem
  • Fully lined
  • Slim fit; 17” from waist
  • Hand wash. Line dry.
  • Imported nylon/spandex
on the supermodel:

^--- notice how the dress ends at a certain length exposing lace
on me:

^--- dress and lace ends at the same time, no "exposing lace" like the picture of the supermodel. I know that often times promotional images are taken months in advance, and clothing change when it goes into production. It was probably easier for the manufacturer to have the lace and the underdress end at the same time.

My measurements: 35-28-35

Review:
I was disappointed that it did not include a belt. I hate when companies include belts in pictures because unless it comes with the exact detachable belt, I then have to hunt down stores to find a replica.

the dress is also long and hugs your curve, my 35 inch hips looked ENORMOUS, and unless you have the slimmest wait, any tummy (or the dreaded food baby after dinner) will make you slightly pregnant.

I like the dress, but I love the dress on the supermodel, just not too much on me. Maybe if I loss 10 pounds so that my ratios will be better, I will resemble more the proportions on a supermodel. Which brings me another thought, if these clothes are for the average girl, shouldn't user submit images of what they look like in them?
